Third Party Devices

In Desigo CC you can create any device type that supports Modbus protocol. Once the device type is created you can configure and monitor the devices created under this device type. To add a new device type to Desigo CC you must configure the same using Power Device Engineer tool.

The application aids in integrating third party devices that support Modbus protocol to Desigo CC system. It provides an option to specify the new third party device type details and import the details to the powermanager system.

Once the device type information are specified and configured in the application, you can generate a JSON file consisting of these specifications. Further, this JSON file can imported to Desigo CC to enable the creation of the third party device.

You can create the third party device in Desigo CC once the JSON import is successful and you can monitor the configured properties of the third party device.
