Selecting the Filter Group for Devices

You can filter the measurement points of the physical, virtual and logical devices based on the polling intervals using the Filter Group . Single and multiple selection of measurement points can be made for archiving and applying filters. For background information, see Filter Group.

To archive the measurement points before applying filters, select the archive group for devices and do the following:

Archiving and applying filter groups to the measurement points can be done together.

  1. You have archived the measurement points.
  1. Select Application View > Powermanager > [area] or [sector].
  2. Select the device for which the measurement points are archived.
  3. Navigate to the archived measurement points in the Measurement Points expander for the physical or virtual device and the Result or Source expander for the logical device.
  4. Select the required filter group from the Filter Group drop-down list.

  5. Click Save .
  1. The measurement points are filtered based on the selected time interval from the filter group and archived into the corresponding storage for the selected archive group.
